As your Wedding Day Pet Care Attendant, Amanda, owner of The Barkday Planner brings over 6 years of professional experience in the pet industry to ensure that your furry family members are as well cared for on your wedding day as you are!
Having managed and worked at a high end pet resort that specialized in boarding, daycare, grooming, and training, Amanda is highly skilled in handling dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and personalities.
Her expertise in reading dog body language and behavior, combined with her certifications in pet CPR and group play, means you can trust her to provide the highest level of care. PLUS, Amanda personally has 6 adorable furry children who are her and her husbands ENTIRE heart and their whole world revolves around them!

Meet & Greet
We offer a complimentary meet-and-greet after booking to make sure we’re the perfect fit for you and your fur-baby! This is a chance for us to get to know your pup’s personality, favorite treats, and their unique personality, ensuring they’re comfortable with us before the big day. We want everything to be stress-free for both you and your fur-baby when the wedding day arrives!
Qualified Pet Handler(s)
At TBP, we are committed to offering only the best care for your pups on your wedding day! Our team of qualified pet handlers are experienced, trained, and dedicated to ensuring your fur-baby is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. From providing water and potty breaks to making sure your pup gets the rest they need, we’re here to keep them happy and relaxed throughout your big day!
Photography & Ceremony Assistance
We’ll make sure your pup steals the show, using their favorite treats and toys to capture those forever memories with you! We have lots of tricks up our sleeve to get the perfect head tilt! Whether walking them down the aisle or keeping them close by for photos afterwards, we’re here to make sure everything goes smoothly for you—We can’t wait to help!
The Barkday Planner Closet (pups only)
All bookings include full access to TBP closet! We offer a variety of stylish leashes and accessories that complement any wedding theme. Our collection is always growing, let us know during our meet and greet what you’re looking for! If you already have your pups outfit ready, we’ll gladly help get them suited up for their big moment!
Wedding Pet Care Pricing
The Big Day - $350, 3 hr min
Our complete focus at your wedding venue will be on your fur-baby making sure their every need is attended to, they get all the attention and love they desire, and they are in the right places at the right times throughout the celebration.
Additional hours are $75 per hour per attendant. If you have more than 1 dog, additional pets can be added for $65 per pet.
Travel Time - $1.50 per mile
If your wedding venue is 75 miles roundtrip from our headquarters in Rendon, Texas, travel time will be complimentary.
Venues located further than 75 miles roundtrip will have an additional travel fee added to their wedding day package at an amount of $1.50 per mile.
Rehearsal - $150, 2 hr max
If you want to have your pup at your rehearsal as well, you can choose to add this option to your wedding day package!
We’ll get them acquainted with the venue, their role(s), and enjoy getting to bond a bit more with them. We would be honored to be there and help them perfect their practice run with you. Walk the walk!
